I'll be interested to see how other people react to these comments. Boyd comes across a little whiny to me. I'm not sure that Nintendo tweets out every game that is released by Indie developers and I don't think they give everyone the gold star treatment. I'm not sure that's even possible with a few dozen games launching almost weekly now. I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out for him but it would seem this is the minority opinion and most developers are "feeling the love from Nintendo"
@Whalehome that's really a subjective point of view. Some people who are into RPGs would say the same of cosmic star heroine and may find a game like hallow Knight or Celeste to their liking. I own Celeste and CSH. I really do not feel like hallow knight is drop everything worthy like say iconoclasts or even God of War.
I bought this game because it looked interesting to me but I haven't started it yet because I'm still working on Octopath Traveler. there's a couple of things to consider here. to start with, AAA games are always going to get the Lion's Share of media attention. In addition to this, opening the floodgates for Indie titles means some games are going to get lost in the shuffle. companies need to do things that will make their games stand out. it's not Nintendo's job to promote every single game but rather give it a platform for people to play the game on. as long as the switch is selling well and Indie developers want to keep coming to the system this is something they will have to accept. Granted Nintendo is rolling out a lot of titles each week and their eshop does need some work, but it's not Nintendo's fault the game isn't selling well
As far as the vids, NoA SUCKS. Iconoclasts, guns gore & cannoli, dead cells, & many more didn't have videos on the Us store, while at the same time they have videos on the Japanese store IN ENGLISH. wtf, NoA? Cosmic star heroine is better than Octopath traveler imho, & certainly tge same audience would like both games. Nintendo screwed Zeboyd Games, for sure, cuz that could definitely have a switch exclusive sequel or something, but now will never get one & they will go back to making the godawful 8bit looking games.
Finally, the political process you Earthlings call "Democracy" has yielded a winner in our "What Should We Play Next" RPG poll: Cosmic Star Heroine. Kat and I start our dig into this lovely little game and talk at length about its battle system, its boss fights, and the early hours of its story.
In Mega Battle, you can play as the original six rangers, and you have the option to download three replacement rangers as DLC. The game is a pretty standard beat 'em up, but it doesn't do anything new or interesting. The graphics also make the game look like it would be something you'd play on your web browser, rather than a game you would play on a modern console.
In the game you play a Hu-Man, a character who has been cursed into being a half-human and half-lizard monster by the Meka-Dragon, on his journey to find the Salamander Cross so he can remove his curse. You can also play as Hu-Girl, Hu-Man's new co-star, Lizard-Man, Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Lion-Man, and Hawk-Man, who each have their own unique special abilities.
PaRappa The Rapper is an iconic game which is commonly credited for starting the modern rhythm game genre. In the game, you play as amateur rapping dog, Parappa, as he tries to impress the girl he likes and learns to believe in himself.
Mass Effect (all three games in that franchise; 1 is a great start, and 2 and 3 just add to it)Destiny 2StarCraftDawn of War (all two games in that series; the first has a LOT of expansion content, and the second has an interesting story)Final Fantasy 13, kinda.
Sony has today launched the highly anticipated update for the Playstation 4, version 1.70. This version brings a couple of new features, including ShareFactory, Automatic pre-download, USB export function for gameplay recordings and more.
Starting on June 13, 2022, the Origin platform will begin streamlining offerings: Origin will no longer sell games from third party publishers. No need to worry though - all third party titles that you have previously purchased and currently play through the Origin platform will remain available to download, install and play on Origin and the EA app.
I absolutely adored the demo! I've been messing around with the trial of RPG Maker MV (and had already been looking at buying RPG Maker 2003 once my trial is over) and this game absolutely convinced me that I need to get RPG Maker 2003. Seeing what devs can do with the engine with enough dedication is just astounding (although I do realize I will have a steep learning curve ahead of me if I ever want to achieve anything this good).Loved it, and I only have two very minor criticisms:1. During the fight where you need to dodge the enemy's projectiles, it might be good if the game automatically set you to the middle tile at the beginning of the phase. The first time I played the fight the boss got a few hits in because I started on the left and thought that was the best place to be and because I simply couldn't move two tiles quickly enough to dodge the projectiles.
As a Steam gamer, it's quality games like this that make me wonder exactly how many incredible games I'm missing out on on itch. I noticed you are releasing it for Steam as well, but I probably never would have found it there if I didn't see it here first. This game looks amazing, and I'm downloading the demo now. Good luck! 041b061a72
